Maruti Suzuki India Limited to ptoduce Covid-19 Masks

To fight against COVID-19, Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has pledged to mitigate the shortage of essentials in medical care. The company has agreed to mass-produce Covid-19 Masks, ventilators, and PPEs at the request of the central government. As a result, MSIL, the largest car manufacturer, has tied up with AgVa Healthcare.

AgVa Healthcare is a government-certified manufacturer of ventilators that primarily supplies to the premier hospitals in the country. MSIL will work closely with AgVa Healthcare to increase the production of ventilators. These are the need of the hour as hospitals are increasing their bed capacity to treat COVID-19 patients. Both companies intend to roll out around 10000 units a month. To meet the demand, AgVa Healthcare is in charge of the technology and the performance of the ventilators.

On the other hand, MSIL is in charge of the manufacturing of the ventilators. The company will also look into maintaining the production and quality control of the ventilators. Furthermore, MSIL will also render its services in financing and approvals too. Both MSIL and AgVa Healthcare will be working closely with Bharat Seats Limited to produce quality protective clothing for healthcare workers. Both companies are tirelessly striving to produce upgraded units in accordance with the guidelines of the government of India. This means that the manufactured units will be engineered to safeguard the health of both the frontline healthcare workers and COVID-19 patients.
